This past weekend, HoopFests Tour Recruiting had the special opportunity to travel down to Jackson, Mississippi for Marc Rowe Rumble in the South. Between the talent, competition and organization it was a great event. The amount of talent in Mississippi is continuing to rise, this event has gotten the attention of several top prospects. Here’s a player that stood out amongst them all and caught our attention.
2023 5’11 PG Josh Hubbard: it’s time national recruiting analysts, media and scouts realize what most in the south know. Hubbard of MRA (Jackson, Mississippi) is a Top 100 Prospect. Hubbard is a floor general who controls the game from the tip-off, very tough defender who guards the ball well and guards end to end. Hubbard is also is known as a high scoring guard that scores in bunches, lightning quick to fly by defenders, elite athleticism, soft touch around the rim, finishes well in traffic and has a college ready frame.
