Statement Session was arguably the top basketball invite only event Louisiana has ever had. 30 of the top players from various parts of Louisiana was in attendance. This article we are featuring stand out bigs, class of 2021 and 2022.
2021 Will Allen 6’8 (Bonnabel High School): The Louisiana Tech commit owned the paint and earned himself the rebounding champ title. He hit several mid range shots and finished well around the rim. On the defensive end, he blocked several shots and made it difficult for defenders to score.
2022 Kyran Ratliff 6’9 (Booker T Washington): The long athletic forward runs the floor well, finishes at the rim and block shots with a high motor. His length helps him on the defensive end to control the paint area throughout the game.
2021 Shammah Bryant 6’6 (Bossier High School): This kid had a great event, he had several big finishes at the rim that caught the attention of college coaches. Good mid range shot and high energy defender.
2021 Jourdan Dishmond 6’8 (Holy Savior): This kid does a great job controlling the lane, big chest and long arms. He uses his body well to rebound, create space and make strong finishes at the rim.
2022 Percy Daniels 6’9 (Madison Prep): The Big man was having a great event before going down early in game 2. Several recruiting analyst was impressed with his size, athleticism and his soft touch around the rim.
