This past weekend, HoopFest Tour had the special opportunity to host our annual Girls High School Academy for players representing Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Between the talent, competition and organization it was a great event. Here’s a few standouts that caught the attention of our scouting and media team.
Raven Bolds | 2028 | 6-0 | Forward | John Curtis High School
Raven Bolds is a 6-foot forward in the 2028 class who brings length, athleticism, and an emerging skill set to John Curtis High School. Bolds plays with energy and versatility, impacting the game on both ends while showing intriguing long-term upside as a modern forward.
Offensively, Bolds is effective around the basket, using her length and timing to finish over defenders and convert in traffic. She runs the floor well in transition, creating easy scoring opportunities, and is developing her face-up game, showing flashes of mid-range touch and the ability to attack off the dribble. Her rebounding ability gives her team valuable second-chance opportunities, and she shows a willingness to battle inside for positioning.
Defensively, Bolds uses her size and mobility to guard multiple positions. She contests shots well, crashes the boards aggressively, and can switch onto smaller players thanks to her lateral quickness. Her activity level allows her to disrupt passing lanes and block or alter shots, often leading to transition chances for her team.
Olivia Turkin | 2026 | 5-9 | Forward | Lakeshore High School
Olivia Turkin is a 5-foot-9 forward in the 2026 class who plays with toughness, energy, and a well-rounded game that makes her a reliable contributor for Lakeshore High School. Turkin combines physicality around the rim with a growing perimeter skill set, giving her the versatility to impact games in multiple ways.
Offensively, Turkin is at her best finishing around the basket. She uses her strength and positioning to score through contact, convert offensive rebounds, and capitalize on second-chance points. Her mid-range jumper is developing, giving her the ability to step out and space the floor, while her court awareness allows her to find open teammates and make smart passes out of the high post. Turkin runs the floor hard, putting pressure on defenses in transition and creating easy scoring opportunities.
Defensively, Turkin plays with a high motor and physical presence. She is an aggressive rebounder on both ends, boxing out effectively and competing for every loose ball. Her defensive versatility allows her to guard both forwards and wings, and she contests shots well, using her timing to disrupt opponents’ rhythm.
Kenndei Turner | 2028 | 5-10 | G/F | Prairieville High School
Kenndei Turner is a 5-foot-10 guard/forward in the 2028 class who stands out with her length, athleticism, and two-way versatility for Prairieville High School. Turner has the size to play on the wing and the skill set to contribute as both a scorer and defender, making her a valuable all-around prospect.
Offensively, Turner uses her length and slashing ability to get to the rim, finishing with body control and the ability to absorb contact. She runs the floor well, making her a dangerous option in transition, and shows flashes of a developing perimeter game, including a mid-range jumper and improving three-point shot. Toni Brown | 2029 | 5-0 | Guard | Iowa High School
Toni Brown is a 5-foot-0 point guard in the 2029 class who plays with exceptional speed, agility, and basketball IQ for Iowa High School in Louisiana. Brown’s quickness and determination make her a dynamic floor general and a disruptive defender.
Offensively, Brown excels at navigating defenses with her lightning-fast first step and tight ball-handling. She’s adept at penetrating the lane, creating scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her court vision allows her to make precise passes, setting up plays and facilitating the offense. While her shooting range continues to develop, her ability to drive and dish makes her a constant threat in the paint.
On defense, Brown uses her quickness and anticipation to pressure ball handlers, disrupt passing lanes, and create turnovers. Her tenacity and defensive awareness compensate for her size, allowing her to guard multiple positions effectively.
Kayla Fox | 2027 | 5-7 | Guard | Northside High School
Kayla Fox is a 5-foot-7 guard in the 2027 class who has quickly emerged as a dynamic two-way player for Northside High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. Known for her versatility and high basketball IQ, Fox has become a key contributor on both ends of the floor.
Offensively, Fox is a well-rounded offensive threat. She handles the ball with poise, allowing her to navigate defenses and create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Her ability to drive to the basket is complemented by a developing perimeter shot, making her a dual-threat on offense. Bri’ Telah Freeman | 2028 | 5-3 | Guard | Ville Platte High School
Bri’ Telah Freeman is a compact but dynamic guard who plays with energy, fearlessness, and high basketball I.Q. Freeman possesses speed, quickness, and a relentless motor that shows up in both her offensive aggression and defensive activity.
Offensively, Freeman excels with the ball in her hands. She has a tight, confident handle and is able to change direction quickly, beat defenders off the dribble, and make smart reads in traffic. Her pull-up game and floater work help her finish in tight spaces, and she shows a good feel for spacing—knowing when to attack, when to pull up, and when to distribute. In addition, her shooting mechanics are sound, and while three-point range might still be developing, she already knows how to use her speed and timing to create open looks. Her ability to spark transition plays—pushing the ball, pushing pace—makes her especially dangerous when the defense is not set.
Defensively, Freeman’s quickness and toughness are her biggest assets. She pressures the ball, works well on ball-defense, and uses her hands and anticipation to disrupt passing lanes. Freeman possesses hustle, active feet, and plays with a willingness to battle through screens, contest closeouts, and fight for rebounds.
Molli Thibodaux | 2028 | 5-6 | Guard | Midland High School
Molli Thibodaux is a 5-foot-6 guard in the 2028 class who plays with pace, confidence, and a high basketball IQ. Representing Midland High School, Thibodaux stands out as a well-rounded back-court player who can score, facilitate, and bring defensive energy. Thibodaux has a smooth and consistent shooting stroke, making her a reliable threat from beyond the arc. She handles the ball with composure, able to break down defenders off the dribble and create scoring opportunities for herself and others.
Offensively, Her mid-range game is polished, and she finishes well around the basket with both hands, using creativity and touch to convert against length. Thibodaux is also a strong passer, showing good court vision and delivering timely assists to cutters and spot-up shooters.
Defensively, Thibodaux plays with grit and quickness. She pressures the ball effectively, moves her feet well to stay in front of her assignment, and has quick hands to generate steals. Her energy on that end helps spark transition opportunities, where she excels at making quick decisions and pushing the pace.
Bailey Timmons | 2026 | 5-8 | Guard | John Curtis High School
Bailey Timmons is a 5-foot-8 guard in the 2026 class who makes an impact with her quickness, toughness, and ability to create offense both for herself and her teammates. Playing at John Curtis High School, Timmons brings a competitive edge and versatile skill set that allows her to contribute on both ends of the floor.

Defensively, Timmons is relentless. She applies strong on-ball pressure, moves her feet well to contain penetration, and uses her anticipation to generate steals. Timmons is a physical defender who doesn’t shy away from challenges and brings consistent energy that fuels her team.
Samahri Garrette | 2028 | 5-7 | Guard | Parkway High School
Samahri Garrette is a 5-foot-7 guard in the 2028 class who stands out with her athleticism, defensive intensity, and ability to make plays on both ends of the court. Representing Parkway High School, Garrette plays with energy and confidence, consistently finding ways to impact the game beyond the box score.
Offensively, Garrette thrives as a slasher and transition threat. She uses her speed and strong first step to attack the rim, finishing with body control and the ability to convert through contact. Her handle is solid, allowing her to create space and get downhill, while she continues to grow as a perimeter shooter. Garrette also shows promise as a facilitator, reading defenses well and finding open teammates when help rotates.

Jayla Albert | 2028 | 5-8 | Guard | Parkway High School

Tyanna Stewart | 2026 | 5-9 | Guard | Vanderbilt Catholic High School

Toni Faulkenberry | 2028 | 6-1 | Center | Ville Platte High School
Toni Faulkenberry is a 6-foot-1 center in the 2028 class who brings size, strength, and a physical interior presence to Ville Platte High School. Faulkenberry stands out as a post player who anchors the paint on both ends of the floor and provides a reliable option around the basket.
Offensively, Faulkenberry thrives with her back to the basket, using her frame to seal defenders and finish through contact. She has good touch around the rim, showing the ability to score with either hand and convert on put-backs. Her footwork continues to develop, allowing her to establish deeper post position and create higher percentage looks. Faulkenberry also shows promise as a screener in the pick-and-roll, creating space for guards and rolling hard to the rim as a finishing option.
Defensively, she provides a strong interior presence. Faulkenberry uses her size to protect the paint, contest shots, and control the boards. She’s an active rebounder who clears space effectively, giving her team second-chance opportunities on offense and limiting opponents’ possessions on defense. Her physicality and willingness to battle inside make her a difference-maker in the post.
